YOUTH
Pathfinders and Rooted
Our vision is to partner with parents making disciples of young people at Christ Church and pointing them to Jesus and his gospel from the Scriptures and to equip them for lives of faithful love and service of Christ both now and in the years ahead.
Our Pathfinders group for years 6-8 meets twice a week. On Sundays during Cross-over at 10.15-11.15am (the bit in between the two morning services) they gather in the church building.
On Thursday evenings they meet in the Upper Room at 6.30-8pm.
The sessions are a mixture of Bible teaching, short games and time for prayer. They also enjoy monthly Thursday socials.

We are grateful for, and regularly attend, the annual summer venture camps 'Sherborne' and 'Woolie Taster' for our younger groups.
Our Rooted group for years 9-13 meets twice a week. On Sundays they gather after the 6pm evening service, until 9pm in Christ Church House to study the Bible, play, snack and socialise. With monthly socials for fun and fellowship.

There is also an opportunity for midweek Bible Study at 'The Burrow' on Thursdays 8-9.15pm.
Our youth are encouraged to attend the excellent “Sorted” youth events in London on occasion. We are heavily plugged into, and grateful for, the 'Sparkford 2' annual summer venture camp.
