SAFEGUARDING
We are committed to safeguarding children, young people, victims of domestic abuse and vulnerable adults.
We want everyone to feel welcome and safe as we reflect the love and care that God shows us. Any safeguarding concerns or questions, big or small, can be brought to our Safeguarding Officers (Contact Info can be found below)
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, so we make sure that we safely recruit and support all our staff and volunteers working with children and adults.

Online Safeguarding Training
As part of the Safer Recruitment process all of our volunteers working with children or vulnerable adults are required to complete online Safeguarding Training. We also encourage many other ministry teams, for example, our Welcome Team, House Café Team, Life Group Leaders and many more to do this as well.
You can log in to the Church of England Safeguarding Portal to make a free account and complete your online training. Those working with children and vulnerable adults are required to complete the Basic Awareness and Foundations courses every three years.
Contact Richard if you need more information, and send your certificates to the Church Office upon completing the courses above.
