Beccy is married to Mark with four adult children and one grandson! Originally working as a midwife in Bath and London, God brought them to CCC 30+ years ago and has grown a passion in Beccy for developing her team of volunteers to create the warm welcome and spiritual hub of our community space, The House Cafe.

After Jesus, knitting, reading and cooking are high on Beccy's list of priorities.  She looks forward to meeting you in the House Cafe! 

Celeste is married to Tim and they have two teenage daughters and Marlo the dog. Celeste became a Christian at 14 at CCC and has been here since.  Having joined the staff team in 2020 she moved into a new role in September 2024 and is excited to see how God will use her to help grow our pastoral care ministry, working closely with Jonnie and Rhianna.  Please reach out to Celeste if you have any pastoral concerns or needs.  She would love to hear from you.

Chris and Karen returned to the Christ Church family in 2021 to serve as Associate Vicar and they have two adult children. Among other things, Chris loves Jesus, music, fresh air, and trying to mend things.  Chris is an elder alongside Jon and Jonnie and has responsibility for our midweek discipleship and Life Groups, evangelism and shares the mainstream teaching.

Claire was a member of CCC for many years before setting off with a team to plant Grace Church Highlands back in 2007 with husband Jeff and their two girls. Claire loves crunching the numbers and works as our Finance Administrator part time. She is very happy to help anyone with their financial giving, and provides invaluable support to our Treasurer.  

David proudly hails from Bangor, Northern Ireland and before joining the staff at Christ Church Cockfosters in 2019, he studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and worked as a freelance pianist, composer and arranger. David is married to Katy and they have two children! They enjoy serving in church together, as well as sharing in Katy’s ministry to professional performers through the organisation ‘West End Has Faith’. David leads our Music Ministry and Media Team and our 20’s/30’s Life Group. Amongst other things, he oversees the planning of our services and lends a creative eye to our publicity.

Duncan is married to Juliette and, along with their four children, they have been members of our church family for many years. Duncan provides support and cleaning services for many of our venue bookings ensuring our premises can be a blessing to the local community.

Elia is married to Joelle and they have two teenage daughters.  As Deputy House Café Minister, Elia brings an Italian flavour to our catering and you'll find him in the Cafe Thursdays and Fridays but he is always lending a hand where needed.

He loves to tell others about the good news of Jesus and he is very rarely without a smile on his face as he serves his church family in and around our buildings.

Hannah has joined the staff team as a part-time Ministry Trainee. She’s lived in Cockfosters her whole life and started coming to Christ Church in November 2023. She is a keen crocheter and baker, and is often watching films with her dog, Mary. Her role includes helping in the church cafe, social media, admin, organisation and the youth group on a Thursday evening. You will also see her assisting with our Sunday music ministry. She’s looking forward to the growth in her faith and love for God as she serves in the voluntary role.

Jonathon is married to Sarah, they have four children. He is a sports enthusiast and would happily have a game of tennis or round of golf with you.  Jonathon's main focus is teaching our young people, training, equipping and growing our team of youth ministers, supporting parents as they seek to disciple their children and seeking to reach out to the youth in our community with the good news of Jesus. He's always keen to catch up one-to-one with adults and young people. Come and say hello!

Jon is married to Ruth and they have three young adult children. He enjoys making (and breaking) things and often has a DIY or upcycling project on the go. Jon is one of our elders alongside Chris and Jonnie, and together they have pastoral oversight for the church family. Jon is responsible for setting our strategic vision, for discipleship and our teaching and preaching programmes. He is also a governor at Trent Primary School, our church school.

Jonnie is married to Erica and they have three young children and they love being back at Christ Church Cockfosters, with Jonnie serving as Associate Vicar (planting). Jonnie is an elder alongside Jon, Chris and Matt and has responsibility for our pastoral care, mission partners and shares in the mainstream teaching on Sundays. He is especially focussed on, God willing, leading a local church plant from CCC in 2026.

Matt is married to Jacs, and they have three adult children, two dogs and one cat. Matt came to faith in his mid-30s and has been at CCC ever since. After a 30-year career in finance, Matt was called to ministry and is now one of our Elders alongside Jon, Chris and Jonnie. Along with his love for Jesus and our church family, Matt loves cycling and golf, is a passionate Saracens fan and a patient Spurs fan. 

Rhianna spent three years as a preschool teacher but felt God draw her into Christian ministry, and to Cockfosters. Rhianna moved from New Zealand to join our team in 2024 and works full time with Wednesdays studying at Cornhill Bible College. You'll find her assisting with our Sunday music ministry, midweek with our seniors and youth ministries, and in the office handling our administration. She'd be pleased to hear from you if you have any queries relating to church life.

Sebastian is originally from South Africa but moved to London 3 years ago.  As our Part-Time Pastoral Associate for Children, Sebastian works alongside Tom helping run our Treasure Seekers groups and Pebbles as well as working closely alongside Trent School. Sebastian loves board games, running, golf and watching F1.

Tom is married to Roo and they have three wonderful and loud children! Tom trained and worked as a Speech and Language Therapist before moving into full-time Christian ministry. He loves sport but since marrying Roo, he seems to have found himself spending more time enjoying countryside walks and period dramas!  Tom is passionate to help us (as parents, and as the whole church family) to raise children as disciples of Jesus. He also co-ordinates our Ministry Trainees; links regularly with Trent School; and meets with individuals for counselling. ​For the next two years Tom is training for Ordination at St Mellitus theological college.

Vava is a North Londoner, married to Elena, with two daughters. He is a lifelong fan of Spurs and loves reading and barbecuing for friends and family. Vava started his journey as a Christian after attending a men’s breakfast at another church and loves being part of the CCC team that runs the same event here. Vava is responsible for so many things behind the scenes but you'll find him looking after us all on Sunday mornings as he pulls the logistics together each week. He oversees the administration and fabric of our buildings, all with a smile on his face!

Zoe is originally from Exeter but has recently graduated from Durham University with a degree in Music. Working as a music ministry trainee, she is looking forward to learning more about using music to encourage others and respond to Gods word, with the possibility of pursuing this ministry long term. She will be working full time and will gain training once a week at Cornhill Theological College. As well as music, Zoe is excited to establish and grow relationships with members of the congregation, especially those involved in the CAMEO group which she will help to run each week.

Nicki is married to David, and they have three adult sons. Alongside teaching flute and theory in local schools, and singing whenever the opportunity arises, she works with David for the Asaph Christian Trust, sharing the good news about Jesus through musical presentations and concerts. Nicki has been part of our church family for nearly 30 years and we are grateful to her to be serving as Church Warden.  Please contact any of our wardens if you have any concerns regarding any of the staff team.

Clare comes from Lincolnshire and has now been in London for more years than she cares to remember! She has been a member of the church family here at CCC since 2022 and now serves alongside Nicki as Churchwarden, having been Assistant Warden for a year. You will also find her on the Tech desk supporting our Sunday services alongside serving refreshments and welcoming with a smile!  She loves being part of the CCC church family and serving alongside the elders and PCC and she is really happy to hear from you about any aspect of church life.  Please contact any of our wardens if you have any concerns regarding any of the staff team.

James originally comes from Northumberland and has been a member of the church family since 2017. He has got involved in various areas of church life including music and youth ministry, as well leading a life group. He loves getting to know people and sharing life over a coffee, as well as escaping from London to go walking in fresh country air! He has now started serving alongside Clare and Nicki as an assistant churchwarden, supporting and learning from them and the elders. Toks is married to Abi and they have two young daughters - they love Jesus and attending CCC.  Toks became Treasurer in 2024 and is helping us overcome our embarrassment about money, and finding joy in giving to God's work here in Cockfosters!  He works closely with our Finance team and PCC.  He'd love to hear from you if you have any questions about our finances.
